Ingredients
1 tender heart, ready to start again
2 cups of stillness and breath
3 tablespoons of self-forgiveness
A few words of truth whispered instead
1 scoop of courage to feel deeply
A pinch of surrender
4 drops of faith (more to taste)
1 candle’s worth of light
Instructions:
1. Begin with stillness.
Sit with yourself without masks, without expectations. Let your breath be that soft cadence that reminds you: I am here, I am safe.
2. Stir in self-forgiveness.
Then whisper to your heart:
I forgive myself for not knowing then what I know now.
Let this dissolve the heaviness you’ve been carrying.
3. Add truth — slowly.
Name what you feel, without judgment. Sadness, longing, hope, joy-all are welcome at this table. Each emotion brings a message with it; listen tenderly.
4. Fold in courage.
Allow yourself to feel. It is in the space between feeling and release that healing happens. It is not necessary to hurry this process; the heart unfolds in divine time.
5. Sprinkle surrender.
Surrender doesn’t mean giving up; it means trusting unseen hands that guide you toward peace.
6. Simmer with faith.
Keep alive in you a flame of believing that even when you cannot see your way ahead, you are being led toward your goal.
7. Serve with light and gratitude. Light your candle. Breathe in its light.
Speak softly: I am healing. I am whole. I am guided by love. Write a letter to your soul every morning. Place your hand on your heart when anxiety visits and say, “I am here with you.
Walk barefoot on the earth and let it remind you of your roots. End your day with a prayer of thanks, not for what is perfect, but for what is real. My healing is sacred. My emotions are my teachers. My spirit is remembering its light.
